Houck Agency, a Boardman public relations and content marketing firm, welcomes Kayla Polansky as an account assistant. Polansky most recently worked as a digital marketing specialist with WTWH Media LLC, a business-to-business publishing company in Cleveland.
In her role at WTWH, she was responsible for leading daily content scheduling within the company’s retail, hospitality and food service industry publications. Polansky promoted podcasts, webinars and conference attendance, and maintained and reported social media metrics to the sales and editorial teams.
“Kayla will complement our growth strategy by not only providing us with greater capacity, but by adding a fresh perspective and new energy to the agency,” said Jim Houck, Houck Agency president.
The 2023 Kent State University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in public relations began her career as a corporate marketing intern in 2022 at The NRP Group LLC before completing her second college internship as a brand marketing intern at Henkel.
Polansky is excited to take on the fast-paced environment surrounding a public relations agency.
“Exploring different industries allows professionals to expand their skill sets, gain diverse perspectives, and discover new opportunities for growth and innovation,” she said. “From housing development and construction adhesives to convenience retail and now working at an agency, I have always embraced challenges with enthusiasm.”
Polansky grew up in Olmsted Falls, Ohio, and has recently moved to the Boardman area. In her free time, she enjoys trying local eateries, thrifting, weightlifting, skiing, and spending time with friends and family.
Houck Agency, established in 2014, provides retainer and project-based public relations and content marketing services to local, regional and national organizations in manufacturing, workforce development, building and construction, healthcare, transportation and professional services industries.
